In this unit we will read selections from poem 64, one of the so-called carmina docta.
The long poems are allegedly the pinnacle of Catullus' progam, in which he puts his principles and erudition into action. Students will also bring the semester project to a conclusion, presenting their research and honing the final version of their papers. ave atque vale! |
